A sunny Sunday welcomed a full field of 104 players for Suzanne’s County Captain’s Day. A huge thank you to Longcliffe for affording our County Captain curtesy of the course.

 

The format was 4BBB and the Longcliffe ladies were out in force to support Suzanne, both in the field and at the halfway house. 

 

The course was in great condition with many of the visitors finding the greens  and the rough some what challenging

 

The a highlight of the day was Suzanne’s hospitality at the halfway house where we were spoilt with a fabulous afternoon tea.

 

Well done to all the Prize winners, there were some great scores on a tough course with the winning team Sharon Wright & Elaine Watkins from Ullesthorpe scoring 44 points

 

2nd was Diana Miller & Sarah Bowler (Lingdale) with 42 points, Caroline Simpson & Dee Laurie (Rothley Park) 3rd with 41 points (b9), Janet Hartley Byng  & Sue Randle (Ullesthorpe) 4th with 41 points, Sue Howell & Barbara Suffolk (Lingdale) 5th with 40 points (b9) and Lauren Day & Lisa Morris (Ullesthorpe) 6th with 40 points 

The winners of the Gross prize with a score of 70 was Tracy Bourne & and Jo Morris-Bourne (Willesley Park), 2nd Gross was Caz and Gemma Parkes- Walley (Lutterworth) with a score of 71.

 

There were numerous nearest the pin winners and Holly Waterfield won longest drive.
