Well what a day we had at Branston!! 120 girls from our 6 regional counties - finals day and a true festival of girls golf!!

In the league finals our scratch team - Gabby, Emily, Scarlett, Edie & Paige had a glorious win over Derbyshire!
In the Handicap match- team players Ella, Megan, Harriet, Amelie & Florrie were playing for outright win of the league! 5 very tight matches ended in a loss for us but we achieved overall 2nd place - best performance for years!!

In the 9 hole events - Mia, Tilley, Freya, Nancy, Finn & Matilda all played well in the handicap category with Freya picking up an award- and in the non handicap category it was lovely to see Emma-Clare & newbies Sia & Isabelle A all doing so well!

At the end of the day we celebrated Scarlett's journey with the County family - from Flag50 to Scratch team player! She leaves us at the end of this season having been an enthusiastic, dedicated and talented player who added so much to our lives. She was presented with a Foxes Mug, a special photo and her County Colours!!

The most important thing was team L&R represented the County with Pride and we all had great fun together!!
