What a great day for our first real big get together for such a long time!!
34 youngsters turned up to play in Fran's special day - and for the first year ever we had a few boys too!
The main event was the18 hole Trophy competition, followed by a 9 hole event and a Flag50! Something for everyone!!

The Captain's prize table looked amazing with vouchers and golf prizes for all. 
Each player was given a special goodie bag and cake at the first tee!! What a way to start the day!

There were some great scores with several players cutting their handicaps!'

The trophy winner and best nett ( 45pts & 64 nett) was Katie Wheeler of Lutterworth  who also achieved nearest the pin!

The scratch prize for best gross went to Vice Captain Holly Waterfield also from Lutterworth, with a glorious 78!

Runner up was Paige McManus of Lingdale with 39 pts and third place went to Amelie Tutt of TLGC with 37pts.

The Best nett & best Gross players go forward to the Justin Rose Telegraph Championship!

 Well done to all winners in this event.

The 9 Hole competition was won by  Eesha Patel of TLGC with 27pts - what a score!

And in the Flag50 the winning girl was Sofia McDougall of TLGC, runner up was newcomer Holly Fennell from Willesley Park and third place was Geet Shergill, also of TLGC

The winning boy was from TLGC Anay Patel  - well done to all of you who played in the events of the day! Your County is proud of you!!

Huge thanks go to Glen Gorse Golf Club who hosted this event, and especially to Lady Captain Gaynor Swingler and her colleagues from the Ladies Section who looked after us throughout the day.

Many of the County girls were awarded their Coaching vouchers during the Presentation, to be spent with their Home Coach during the year!

Last words are for Francesca and her family who hosted a great day for the youngsters and were extremely generous with prizes and food for all!! Thanks to you from all of us!!
