Junior Information

We are proud to announce that Holly Waterfield has been appointed our Non-Executive Junior Director of Golf by the County Executive Committee. This replaces the County Junior Organiser role. 

Holly is a trainee professional and is very keen to lead the Junior Girls and will have a team to support her.  Having been a participant of all the different sections of the County Girls with a strong passion for girls’ golf, Holly is a wonderful addition to the team.    The team will be meeting in February to put together a season of competitions and coaching opportunities which were so well received in 2025

Holly will lead the younger and higher handicap and non-handicap girls coaching and Amy Taylor (returning from maternity leave) will lead the senior girls coaching.  Details to follow shortly.

We welcome our new Junior Captain, Ella Cunningham as 2026 Junior Girls Captain.     Ella is very popular and we know our Junior girls will be a great support to her throughout the year.      We have a great junior girls section and can reassure you they  will all be well supported by the Junior Team and the Executive Committee.

Foxes Junior Pathway Tour

Anita Higginson & Mick Billingham (LRGU) continue to lead the Foxes Junior Pathway Tour with the help of Lyndsey & Dan Wheeler, Jane Tailby and Joy Draycott. The Tour goes from strength to strength.
