Leicestershire & Rutland Ladies Counties Golf Association (LRLCGA) hits the mark with national golf accreditation for safeguarding
Leicestershire & Rutland Ladies County Golf Association which is backing the drive to grow the game, has achieved the SafeGolf accreditation from England Golf demonstrating its commitment to safeguarding children and young people, as well as adults in risk in the sport of golf.
The award was presented to L & R LCGA by Mark Romasiuk England Golf’s Central Region Club Support Officer. “I’m delighted that LRLCGA has achieved SafeGolf and that its efforts to grow the game and safeguard it’s participants can be nationally recognised.”
Accepting the Award President Karen Bonser said ‘Leicestershire & Rutland Ladies County Golf Association are delighted to announce that we have recently been accredited with Safe Golf. It is imperative that our children & vulnerable adults feel safe whilst taking part in our game. I would like to thank all the ladies that have been instrumental in driving this accreditation forward’
