The Midlands North Region Girls’ Championship was held at Lilleshall Golf Club on Saturday 23^rd August.

Lilleshall was a tricky course and the conditions were challenging. However, there were some great individual scores over the day.

Defending champion Gabriella Crowfoot shot a 76 in the morning and was Runner-Up in the 36 hole Championship. Edie Speirs came in 3^rd place after shooting a gross 76 in her afternoon round.

Lucy Wheeler won the best 18 hole gross for her morning round of 75, which helped to cut her handicap.

Edie, Lucy and Ella Cunningham won the team prize for Leicestershire & Rutland.

Nicole Parsons from Hinckley was playing in her first competition away from home and managed to play to her handicap in the 18 hole event. Well done Nicole!
